CSS Gallery (back to 1997)
I got too busy this week so I went ahead and gave my self a break, at least for tonight. I was searching for css galleries when I came across the following one: Microsoft CSS Gallery. Initially, I was under the impression that it was related to the infamous IE7 CSS Zen Garden but no … it was a CSS gallery dedicated for Microsoft Internet Explorer 3!!! Oh yeah, that is right!
An almost ten-year gallery is out there and I am wondering why is still “up”, especially after the recent redesign of microsoft.com. It is worth mentioning that it is the number #3 result in google search “css gallery”. Anyway, you can view this as a historical opportunity to see some of the first (maybe?) css examples, under the concept of content and presentation separation: Same Content – Different Style
